What if an ordinary family heirloom held an extraordinary secret—one powerful enough to change your life forever?

Some family secrets are buried in forgotten letters or locked away in dusty attics. Others are far more dangerous, waiting for the perfect moment to awaken.

In The Clockwork Ninja: The Avatar Wars, Book One — A Dark Harlequin Novel, author Ben Gill introduces readers to a world where magic, mystery, ancient forces, and unexpected friendships collide.

An Ordinary Life Shattered by an Extraordinary Discovery

Joe Stanton is just beginning his college journey when devastating news forces him to return home.

His family’s house has been robbed. His father and his father’s closest friend have been hospitalized. And his older brother is about to reveal a secret that defies everything Joe believes about reality.

For forty-three years, Joe’s family and their closest allies have protected a life-sized mechanical Harlequin.

But this is no ordinary antique.

Hidden within its intricate clockwork body is the soul of its creator—a living consciousness that has remained dormant for years.

Now the mysterious Harlequin has been stolen.

And it has awakened.

A Phone Call That Changes Everything

Just when the search appears hopeless, Joe receives an astonishing revelation: the Harlequin has called for help.

Awake, confused, and stranded in Phoenix, Arizona, the mysterious mechanical being needs someone to bring it home.

Joe reluctantly becomes its rescuer, unaware that this simple mission will lead him into a dangerous supernatural adventure.

What begins as a rescue soon becomes a race involving magical objects, mysterious enemies, and powers far beyond Joe’s understanding.

When Curiosity Awakens Something Darker

The Harlequin is no ordinary companion. Its boundless curiosity, mischievous personality, and fierce loyalty make it both fascinating and unpredictable.

But beneath its playful exterior lies something much more formidable.

When ancient evil threatens those it loves, the Harlequin reveals a dangerous side.

The playful mechanical figure becomes the Dark Harlequin.
